Established in 1981, WWA is recognized as a leading consultant for waterpark businesses and owners worldwide. The “Leading Edge Award” is an annual award organized by WWA, aiming to honor waterparks with innovative facilities and services.

Sun World Ha Nam Water Park was awarded the prize Leading Edge Award - a leading project in design and thematic innovation.

According to WWA representatives, the Leading Edge Award is awarded to parks or individuals with breakthrough creativity in developing new themes, infrastructure, products, services, or operational concepts in the industry that attracts visitors with water-based attractions, benefiting water park members, visitors, and the global water entertainment industry.
